Welcome to Branston Community Academy
On 1st December 2010 we became an Academy

In 2002 the Academy became one of the first 18 secondary schools nationally to gain Business and Enterprise specialist status. The high quality of our Business and ICT curricula, the range of enterprise opportunities for our students and an innovative partnership with a major local employer, Lincolnshire Co-operative, are examples of how that status has shaped our development.
The Academy has received recognition and many awards for the achievements of our students in recent years. This has resulted in the Academy being rated as a ‘High Performing Specialist School’ and being offered the opportunity to take on a second specialism in Applied Learning.
From this introductory page we hope that you will navigate around our site and find information that is related to some of the issues discussed in this introduction and indeed many that are not. Thank you for taking the time to read this and please contact the Academy directly if there is any information that you are unable to locate here.
Mr P. Beighton, Principal
